Powerscourt Estate House and Gardens Wedding – Aisling & Daniell
Aisling and Daniell’s wedding day at Powerscourt Estate House and Gardens was elegant, relaxed and full of unique moments, all set against one of the most iconic wedding venues in County Wicklow.
The day began with the groom’s preparations at Powerscourt Hotel, where I photographed Daniell with his parents and groomsmen. The atmosphere was calm and positive, a great start to the day before heading off to the ceremony.
From there, I travelled to Aisling’s parents’ home for the bridal preparations. It was a warm and emotional morning, with family close by as Aisling got ready. One of the highlights came at the end of the preparations, when a surprise vintage car from the movie Chitty Chitty Bang Bang arrived to bring Aisling to the ceremony – a brilliant and very personal touch.
The ceremony took place at Powerscourt Estate, after which the celebrations continued in the gardens. Guests enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and perfect weather during the drinks reception, making full use of the spectacular estate and its manicured gardens.
After the ceremony, we moved straight into family photographs in the gardens. The very first image was a large group photograph with all the guests, set against the stunning backdrop of the Sugar Loaf Mountain, which is visible from Powerscourt and is one of the most recognisable landmarks in County Wicklow. From there, we continued with more relaxed family photographs, including parents, siblings and the bridal party. Everything was kept smooth and well organised, allowing everyone to enjoy the beautiful surroundings while we captured a complete set of meaningful family images.

Dinner was held inside the venue, followed by an evening filled with great atmosphere and celebrations. Later in the day, we stepped outside again to capture stunning evening photographs, using the soft light and elegant setting of Powerscourt Estate House and Gardens.
I stayed late to photograph the first dance, finishing the day with some truly special moments. Powerscourt Estate House and Gardens was an exceptional setting for Aisling and Daniell’s wedding, offering both breathtaking outdoor spaces and beautiful interiors for a complete wedding day experience.
