Kilshane House Wedding - Sarah & Michael

A beautiful ceremony on the island at Kilshane House

A Beautiful Start to the Day

Sarah and Michael’s wedding day began in the most relaxed and joyful way. While Marta spent the morning with Sarah and her bridesmaids capturing those lovely, quiet moments of anticipation, I made my way to Kilshane House where Michael was getting ready alongside his groomsmen.

The atmosphere on both sides was full of excitement - a perfect mix of calm moments and plenty of laughter as everyone prepared for the day ahead.

First Look in the Walled Garden

Before the ceremony, Sarah and Michael chose to have their first look in the stunning walled garden. This private moment was truly special - emotional, genuine, and full of happiness. It gave them a chance to pause, take everything in, and simply enjoy seeing each other before the celebrations really began.

A Unique Island Ceremony

The ceremony itself was something truly unforgettable. Set on a small island in the middle of the lake at Kilshane House, it created one of the most intimate settings imaginable.

With just the couple, the celebrant, and two witnesses standing on the island beneath the gazebo, Sarah and Michael exchanged their vows and rings. Guests watched from across the water as the whole moment unfolded - peaceful, emotional, and incredibly unique.

Outdoor Drinks Reception

After the ceremony, everyone returned to the main house where the drinks reception took place outdoors. With the beautiful weather holding strong, guests were able to fully enjoy the gardens, the atmosphere, and the relaxed pace of the afternoon.

We captured all the family photographs during this time, making the most of the natural light and the stunning surroundings.

Dinner, Speeches and Celebration

The celebrations continued into the evening with dinner followed by heartfelt speeches. There was a real sense of warmth in the room - lots of laughter, a few happy tears, and stories that brought everyone even closer together.

First Dance and Evening Magic

As the evening unfolded, Sarah and Michael shared their first dance, followed by a lively dance floor filled with family and friends. The energy carried on well into the night.

To finish the day, we stepped outside for a final set of evening photos, where fireworks lit up the sky - the perfect ending to an already incredible wedding day.
