Barberstown Castle Wedding - Kate & Sean
A Playful Start to the Day
Kate and Sean’s wedding morning began with a fun twist. While Marta spent the morning with Kate capturing her preparations, I was at Barberstown Castle with Sean.
The couple’s energy was infectious – vibrant, happy, and full of life. An interesting detail about Sean: he’s a big fan of board games. Before heading to the church, the couple played a few rounds, adding a personal and playful touch to their morning.
Ceremony at the Church of Our Lady and St David
The ceremony took place at Church of Our Lady and St David. Kate arrived and the celebration began. Their friend Chris officiated, creating a warm and heartfelt atmosphere. Every moment, from vows to the signing of the register, was full of emotion and joy.
After the ceremony, guests offered congratulations, and the day officially continued to Barberstown Castle for the reception.
Relaxed Drinks and Family Photos at Barberstown Castle
Back at the castle, the drinks reception was a relaxed and joyful affair. The August weather was perfect, warm and sunny, and guests enjoyed spending time outdoors.
We captured all the family photos during drinks reception and that part of the day felt natural and fun.
Dinner & Speeches
Before dinner, while the hotel was taking orders from the guests, we took Kate and Sean for a romantic walk around the castle grounds, capturing some beautiful intimate moments. After that, the speeches began, full of laughter and heartwarming stories from family and friends. One of the highlights was the cutting of the cake with the big sword, adding a fun and memorable twist to the celebration. Dinner then followed, giving everyone a chance to relax and enjoy the evening.
Evening Celebration and Party
As the evening unfolded, Marcin captured some romantic shots of the couple. The August warmth meant the party could continue outside, with guests enjoying the summer night.
Marcin stayed a little while to photograph the first dances and a few guest dances, rounding off a beautiful, lively, and unforgettable wedding day.
