First Look
Cloughjordan House is a dream venue to photograph. Its historic character, rustic charm and beautifully kept gardens create endless opportunities for natural, storytelling wedding photographs. One of the highlights of the day was Laura and Ciaran’s first look – a quiet, emotional moment they shared together before the ceremony, allowing them to slow things down and truly take it all in.
A rustic barn ceremony
The ceremony took place in the barn at Cloughjordan House, a space full of warmth and character. Surrounded by their family and friends, Laura and Ciaran exchanged heartfelt vows in an atmosphere that felt intimate, personal and full of love.
Family and group photographs in the gardens
After the ceremony, we began with a large group photograph of everyone, arranged outside the house by the hotel – a perfect way to capture all the guests together against the stunning backdrop. After that, we moved on to more intimate family photographs in the gardens, capturing relaxed and natural portraits with loved ones amidst the beautiful surroundings.
Outdoor drinks reception and garden games
The outdoor drinks reception was full of energy and laughter. Guests enjoyed the sunshine, garden games like Jenga and ping pong, and the laid-back feel that Cloughjordan House is so well known for. The friendly and attentive staff helped everything run smoothly, allowing everyone to simply enjoy the day.
Dinner, speeches and first dance
As the evening continued, guests were treated to a delicious dinner followed by emotional and entertaining speeches. Laura and Ciaran’s first dance opened the dance floor and set the tone for a night filled with great music, laughter and plenty of dancing.
