Mount Wolseley Hotel | Sunshine and a Bit of Rain
We had the absolute pleasure of capturing Kirstie and Peter’s late summer wedding at the stunning Mount Wolseley Hotel in Tullow. The day had it all — sunshine, laughter, a few emotional tears, and even a surprise shower during the portraits that added a fun little twist to the story!

A little rain, a lot of love. Kirstie and Peter under the umbrella at the pond — the perfect moment, rain and all, at Mount Wolseley Hotel.
Morning Moments – Getting Ready
The day began with Kirstie’s preparations at one of the cosy lodges on the grounds of Mount Wolseley – just a short stroll from the main hotel. It was the perfect, stress-free setup, and she was joined by her bridesmaids and their lovely daughter. Marta was there to photograph all the excitement, laughter, and quiet moments before the ceremony.
Meanwhile, Peter was getting ready at his home in Blessington. Marcin popped over to capture the groom’s side of the morning – including some fun shots with the groomsmen and their trusty wedding vehicle: a rugged Jeep Peter had been working on ahead of the big day. It looked great and was ready to roll!
A Heartfelt Indoor Ceremony
The ceremony took place in one of Mount Wolseley’s elegant rooms and was beautifully led by celebrant Michael Grace. It was full of heartfelt moments and happy tears — a truly lovely way to begin the celebrations.
Portraits by the Pond (and a Quick Rain Shower!)
After the ceremony, we stepped outside for family and bridal party photos. Then it was time for portraits with Kirstie and Peter near the peaceful pond on the golf course, surrounded by graceful willow trees and warm afternoon light.
Just as everything was coming together perfectly — the rain decided to make a quick appearance! But no worries, we were ready with umbrellas and kept shooting. That little bit of rain actually brought something special to the photos, adding a soft, romantic atmosphere we absolutely loved.
A Joyful Reception
Back at the reception, Kirstie and Peter were surrounded by their favourite people, soaking in all the love and joy. We captured so many beautiful candid moments — from big laughs to quiet glances — the kind of images that really tell the story of the day.
First Dance
Their first dance was the perfect ending to a celebration that felt both relaxed and full of meaning.
