Lisa and Michael – Clanard Court Hotel
Lisa and Michael celebrated their wedding at the beautiful Clanard Court Hotel in Athy, and the day couldn’t have started more perfectly. Marta joined Lisa at her parents’ house for the morning preparations, while I spent the morning with Michael and the lads at his family home.
From there we all made our way to Clanard Court. The hotel’s new chapel, built especially for weddings, was the setting for their ceremony. It was a stunning summer day – warm, bright, and full of that easygoing atmosphere everyone loves. Their ceremony was heartfelt and relaxed, and once the vows were exchanged, the first kiss done, and the register signed, the celebrations officially began.
Outside the chapel, everyone gathered for a big group photograph, capturing that moment of excitement and applause. The drinks reception followed in the garden, and with the weather on their side, it felt like the perfect summer afternoon. We took a few family photos there with their closest people and then let Lisa and Michael enjoy their reception.
Once the call for dinner came, everyone headed inside for the meal and speeches. Later on, with gorgeous evening light around the chapel, we stepped out for a few romantic portraits. The area around the chapel is beautiful, and the light gave us some lovely moments to work with. After that came the first dance and a few lively dances with the guests before the night moved into full celebration mode.
