Bridge House Hotel Tullamore Wedding – Sonya & Alan
Sonya and Alan celebrated their wedding on 31st December 2014, welcoming the New Year with their closest family and friends. From a heartfelt church ceremony to romantic portraits at Charleville Castle and an elegant reception at the Bridge House Hotel in Tullamore, their New Year’s Eve wedding was full of warmth and atmosphere.
Morning Preparations
The wedding day began with bridal preparations on New Year’s Eve. Marta stayed with Sonya in the morning to photograph her preparations, capturing the excitement and final moments before the ceremony. At the same time, I travelled to the church to meet Alan and document guests arriving for the ceremony.
Church Ceremony
The ceremony took place in a local church in Tullamore and was both emotional and beautiful. Sonya was walked down the aisle by her dad, a touching moment for everyone present. After exchanging vows and rings, and signing the register, everything was official and the celebrations could truly begin.
Romantic Photographs at Charleville Castle
Following the ceremony, we travelled to Charleville Castle for romantic couple photographs. This stunning location was provided by the hotel as part of their wedding package, offering a perfect backdrop for relaxed and timeless portraits.
Bridge House Hotel Reception
The reception was held at the Bridge House Hotel in Tullamore, an excellent venue for a New Year’s Eve wedding. Noel, the hotel manager, was incredibly helpful throughout the day, making sure everything ran smoothly. When Sonya and Alan arrived, drinks were ready for guests to enjoy during the drinks reception.
Before dinner, we gathered everyone on the hotel’s impressive staircase for a full group photograph, capturing all of their guests together.
Evening Celebrations
As the evening approached, we stepped outside for a few romantic photographs before the first dance. Sonya and Alan’s first dance marked the start of a relaxed and joyful evening, celebrating not only their wedding day but also the arrival of the New Year.
